I would recommend a shop that has a specific piece of equipment for it. It's closed loop system that will purge, use a cleaning colution and refill your coolant system. They'll use adapters on your top coolant hoses to do this. Having a cast block lends itself to corrosive possibilities. I've used this type of cleansing system before on a couple of my other cars and it works really well. I would have never got my cooling systems as clean by a DIY method. It's not cheap, but it's a must for every one of the used cars I've bought in the past few years. Faiazza, the better quality auto shops around Hamilton should have this type of machine.
